The Italian Society of Ecology (S.It.E.) is organizing the XXXIV Annual Congress “Ecology and Sustainability: Strategies for Addressing the Challenges of the Third Millennium.”
This national event will be held in Caserta from September 17 to 19, 2025, and will feature approximately 250 researchers from national universities and research institutions working on ecological and environmental issues, as well as international researchers of recognized scientific standing.
The Congress, organized into plenary sessions, parallel sessions, and roundtables, will address topics of great interest not only to the scientific community but also to society as a whole, with particular emphasis on the effects of climate change and human disturbance on ecological systems, the development of predictive models, the identification of recovery strategies for human-modified terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, the assessment of natural capital and ecosystem services, and ecological education throughout the entire curriculum.
