The joint SGI-SIMP Congress was held on the University Campus in Bari from September 3 to 5.
The opening ceremony took place on the afternoon of September 2, 2024.
The event was attended by over 1,200 people, with more than 1,100 abstracts on 20 key topics in the Geosciences. The three-day conference was divided into parallel scientific sessions, plenary lectures by international scholars, round tables, and workshops on key geoscience topics as well as their contribution to high-impact geological and social issues.
The satisfaction of each individual member was very high, along with that of the SGI and SIMP.
