Kittiwake, in addition to producing instruments for both field and laboratory analysis, for predictive maintenance, produces a whole series of sensors online, to monitor the progress of the oil wear condition inside the motors and / or gears.
The sensors available are:
OIL CONDITION SENSOR, which determines a trend on the degradation of oil, if there are anomalous changes caused for example by contamination due to glycol leakage, or free water, or insulable and more.
WEAR DEBRIS SENSOR, detects if there is a 40 micron size ferrous particulate. It detects, counts and also the size of the ferrous and not particulate, due to the effort.
TOTAL FERROUS SENSOR, determines the contamination of ferrous particles at 1 micron
MOISTURE IN OIL SENSOR, sensitive to moisture contamination, typically used in hydraulic fluids and other light products.
WATER SCAN TOTAL WATER IN OIL, continuous monitoring system for the determination of total water contamination in lubrication systems and contamination of insoluble inside large diesel engines.
SENSOR SUITE, is a system assembled with all the various types of sensors inside a customized casing.
